The Objective

Cloudflare called on Ballou to publicize its installation in France and the hiring of a local team. Secondly, the agency was tasked with raising awareness of the company's expertise by positioning the French Managing Director on issues relating to Internet security and performance, while continuing to communicate around the launch of each of its new offerings.

The Campaign

Ballou initiated the campaign by organising meetings between Boris Lecoeur, Managing Director of Cloudflare in France, and key journalists to present the business and its ambitions for the French market.

Ballou has set up a system for monitoring Internet security and performance issues, in order to systematically offer Cloudflare's expertise. These issues may be technical (cyber attacks), political (regulatory changes) or economic (geopolitical conflicts). Each response is supported by data from Cloudflare's research center.

The Results

For the past 3 years, Ballou has been working with Cloudflare on a daily basis to develop its reputation in France.

Thanks to a campaign based on expertise, we regularly secure interviews and appearances in specialised media (Le Mag IT, Silicon, IT For Business, etc.) and high-audience business and generalist media (Le Figaro, Journal du Net, Europe 1, BFM TV, etc.). The data (studies, barometers, rankings, etc.) shared by Cloudflare enable us to be regularly quoted.
