The 25 must-see events for European Tech in 2025!

2024 was a year of change and innovation at every level; what does 2025 have in store for us?

For the tech sector, where everything moves a little faster every year, certain events have become must-sees. Just 2 hours away from London by plane or train, Europe is a breeding ground for technology, with events that have become unmissable. This year, the Ballou runs through 25 of Europe’s not-to-be-missed events -so get your diaries ready!

JANUARY – 2

After CES in Las Vegas and the inauguration of Donald Trump on 20 January, the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting ( Davos Conference) takes place from 20 to 24 January, where the world’s decision-makers will be meeting. On the agenda is the world’s economy, climate,and, of course, technology. Although not open to everyone, this event sets the trend for the year ahead and marks the start of a new economic year. On a completely different note, CryptoXR, an event aimed at democratising Web3 and Crypto, will be held in Auxerre from 30 January , with one day dedicated to professionals and another for the general public. An event that, this year more than ever, should attract all those who have questions about the future of the internet.

FEBRUARY – 3

February will be marked by three major technology events in Europe, including two in France. The first is the Digital Assets Forum, to be held in London on 3 February. This conference will bring together Europe’s financial professionals to discuss the institutional digital assets sector. Back in France, Paris will be hosting this year’s Artificial Intelligence Action Summit on 10 and 11 February. For almost a week, Paris will be hosting events aimed at strengthening international action to secure artificial intelligence that’s in the public interest. Finally, February sees the return of NFT Paris, a third edition to be held from 13 to 14 February, this year at the Grandes Halles de la Villette.

MARCH – 3

March is one of the high points of the year. Around the world, some of the biggest events will be taking place in the fields of cybersecurity, cloud, crypto, web3 and digital. In Europe, we find the Tech Show in London, taking place on 12 and 13 March at Excel.We continue our tour with a stopover in the French capital to talk DeepTech on 13 and 14 March at the Hello Tomorrow – Global Summit – coveringindustry, mobility, health, climate, carbon –  with over 100 guests.Finally, professionals and enthusiasts of web infrastructure such as cloud computing will be meeting at CloudFest, from 17 to 20 March in the incredible Europa-Park in Germany.

APRIL – 4 + 1 bonus

The tour of Europe kicks off in Lille with a new edition of the FIC, the International Cybersecurity Forum, taking place from 1 to 3 April. The FIC has become a benchmark event for digital confidence, and will be exported to the United States, Canada and Japan in December 2025. Then it’s off to Amsterdam for the Tech Summit Europe on 3 April 2025. Whether for start-ups, the public sector or investors, Tech Summit Europe aims to be an inclusive conference, providing an opportunity to discover the latest innovations in technology.

Finally, two major events will be taking place in Paris, in two completely different fields. The first is Paris Blockchain Week, which will be held for the 6th time at the Carrousel du Louvre from 8 to 10 April, and which, as every year, is expected to attract several thousand people from all over the world. And to round off the month of April, the ChangeNOW event returns to the Grand Palais from 24 to 26 April. A must-attend event on the ecological and technological scene, ChangeNOW is the conference that brings together the most solutions and players working for the planet. As an added bonus, don’t miss the Energy Tech Summit on 9 April in Bilbao, Spain, where you can meet Europe’s leading experts in the field!

MAY – 2

In May 2025, Gitex Europe will be held at the Messe in Berlin, Germany, from 21 to 23 May. Having travelled around the world, Gitex Europe is set to become one of the major events in European tech, welcoming the largest number of start-ups, solutions and CEOs for some exciting moments. Last but not least, the Dublin Tech Summit on 28 and 29 May will be a much-anticipated gathering of technology creators and enthusiasts.

JUNE – 2 + 1 bonus

Before heading off for the summer, we look forward to seeing you in Berlin for the Super Venture from 2 to 4 June, the leading venture capital event for LP/VC relations. Every year, Super Venture is a must-attend event for the start-up sector, connecting project owners and investors. Right after, jump on a plane to Madrid for the South Summit, from 5 to 6 June, where global innovators, bold entrepreneurs, leading corporations and visionary investors meet. Then it’s back to France for Viva Technology, where the European and global tech scene will gather from 11 to 14 June to discuss new frontiers and opportunities,, with artificial intelligence taking centre stage.

JULY & AUGUST – 2

In July, the blockchain and crypto ecosystem will be able to attend the 8th annual Ethereum conference, EthCC 8,to be held in Cannes from 30 June to 3 July. In view of the craze for the crypto ecosystem and the acceleration of projects, this new edition should attract the whole world to Cannes, which is preparing to welcome an entire community by training these merchants in crypto payments in particular (source). Finally, after a fortnight in August without any major events, the web developer ecosystem will be in Cologne, Germany, for the devcom Developer Conference 2025, from 17 to 19 August.

SEPTEMBER – 2 + 1 bonus

It’s back to school in Germany with IFA Berlin, a major consumer electronics event, from 5 to 9 September. Then there’s Bits & Pretzels, which will take place in Munich from 29 September to 1 October, a meeting place for startups, investors and corporates from all over the world. Finally, on 17 September 2025, FFDAY will be held for France Digitale, the association that has been bringing together startups and VCs since 2012 to promote innovation in France and Europe.

OCTOBER – 3

In October, cybersecurity will be in the spotlight with Les Assises de la Cybersécurité, to be held in Monaco from 8 to 11 October. Every year, this is the place to be for CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, network and telecoms infrastructure managers, risk managers, etc., and the suppliers of the most cutting-edge ‘partner’ solutions on the cyber market. Then, it’s on to Spain for the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona. The most important event in blockchain innovation returns from 15 to 17 October, with almost 40,000 visitors expected. Finally, we recommend that you attend UNLEASH on 21 and 22 October in Paris, an event organised by the company itself to decipher the latest trends and analyses for leaders in the HR, learning and recruitment sectors.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER – 2

After such an intense year, November and December still have some memorable moments of exchange around technology in store for us. These include the Web Summit, taking place in Lisbon from 10 to 13 November, and SLUSH, the place to be for startups, in Helsinki on 19 and 20 November 2024. For December, there are a few last-minute events to add to the diaries – tech is full of surprises!
